Stella Cherry Scion Wood
High-quality Stella Cherry (Prunus avium) scion wood cuttings are available for grafting. These cuttings are taken from healthy, productive trees to ensure excellent viability and strong grafting success.
The Stella Cherry is a popular sweet cherry variety known for its large, heart-shaped fruit with deep red skin and dark red, juicy flesh. The flavor is rich, sweet, and well-balanced, making it excellent for fresh eating, desserts, and preserves. Stella is especially valued for being one of the first widely planted self-fertile sweet cherry varieties.
When grafted onto appropriate rootstock, Stella cherry trees typically reach 12–18 feet tall (depending on rootstock), making them suitable for backyard orchards and home gardens. As a self-fertile variety, it does not require another cherry tree to produce fruit, though planting additional sweet cherry varieties nearby can increase yields.
Each order will be lightly moistened with a damp napkin and securely sealed in a Ziploc bag to maintain freshness during transit. Scion wood will be shipped via Priority Mail or better for fast and reliable delivery.
Perfect for orchard enthusiasts and home gardeners looking to propagate a reliable, self-fruitful sweet cherry. Order now to receive premium scion wood for successful grafting!
