D’Anjou Pear Scion Wood

High-quality D’Anjou Pear (Prunus communis) scion wood cuttings are available for grafting. These cuttings are carefully selected from healthy, productive trees to ensure excellent viability and strong grafting success for your orchard projects.

The D’Anjou Pear is a classic European pear variety prized for its smooth texture, abundant juice, and mildly sweet flavor. The fruit is medium to large with green skin (sometimes developing a slight blush) and firm flesh that stores exceptionally well. It is excellent for fresh eating, baking, poaching, and preserves. This variety is well-known for dependable production and long storage life.

When grafted onto appropriate rootstock, D’Anjou pear trees typically grow 12–18 feet tall (depending on rootstock), making them suitable for home orchards and larger garden spaces. While not self-fertile, it produces best when paired with another European pear variety such as Bartlett for cross-pollination.

Each order will be lightly moistened with a damp napkin and securely sealed in a Ziploc bag to maintain freshness during transit. Scion wood will be shipped via Priority Mail or better for fast and reliable delivery.

Perfect for orchard enthusiasts and home gardeners looking to propagate this reliable, long-keeping pear variety. Order now to receive premium scion wood for successful grafting!
