Heirloom Oregon Sugar Snow Pea Seeds
Heirloom Oregon Sugar Snow Pea Seeds
Oregon Sugar Snow Peas are one of the most popular snow pea varieties for home growers. They can be sautéed, steamed, or used to stir-fry in a variety of dishes. Snow pea bears flat, up to 4-inch-long pods that are sweet and crunchy. The pods freeze successfully with no color or flavor loss. Harvest the pods frequently to keep the plants producing. Peas are a cool season crop that thrives in gardens in the spring, fall and even winter. If you don’t have too cold winters, its best to start the seeds in the fall. This variety shows resistance to wilt, powdery mildew, and the mosaic virus.
