Condalia Velutina, Is a Throny Shrub type tree. Commonly known as spiny hackberry, granjeno, red logwood, and asebuche. The slow growing Bush Type tree can grow up to 5 meters. It produces small edible red berries that are mostly eaten by birds and other wildlife. This tree is popular because of its tangy sweet fruit and because it sheds its leaves during winter, and the leaves decompose to make very good quality compost for house plants.
