Black Splendor Plum Scion Wood

Premium Black Splendor Plum (Prunus salicina) scion wood cuttings are available for grafting. These cuttings are carefully taken from healthy, productive trees to ensure excellent viability and strong grafting success.

The Black Splendor Plum is an outstanding early-season Japanese plum variety known for its very large fruit, deep purple to nearly black skin, and rich red flesh. The flavor is sweet with a pleasant balance of acidity, and the flesh is firm, juicy, and highly flavorful. This variety is especially valued for its impressive size, beautiful color, and excellent eating quality.

When grafted onto suitable rootstock, Black Splendor trees typically grow to a manageable height of 10โ€“15 feet, making them ideal for backyard orchards and home gardens. While partially self-fertile, production is improved when planted near another Japanese plum variety for cross-pollination.

Each order will be lightly moistened with a damp napkin and securely sealed in a Ziploc bag to maintain freshness during transit. Scion wood will be shipped via Priority Mail or better to ensure fast and reliable delivery.

Perfect for orchard enthusiasts and home gardeners looking to propagate this large, early, premium plum variety. Order now to receive high-quality scion wood for successful grafting!
